Marat brings close to two decades of experience including over 15 years in infrastructure, energy and real assets investments and financing. Prior to Pentagreen, Marat was head of the Asia “Upstream” unit at International Finance Corporation (World Bank Group) within the manufacturing, agribusiness and services industry group, tasked with developing bankable projects across sustainable mobility, decarbonisation, waste and circular economy and other climate-smart real assets in Asia. Previously Marat was Senior Director of Infrastructure at Clifford Capital in Singapore and held roles in the HSBC Resources and Energy project finance group in Hong Kong and the KPMG Global Infrastructure group in London.
Marat holds a BSc in Mathematics and Philosophy from the University of Southampton in the UK and is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of England and Wales.
Kok Peow has over 25 years of experience in the financial industry, covering infrastructure finance, structured asset-backed financing, debt and equity capital markets. Before joining Pentagreen, Kok Peow was the CFO and General Manager of Seven Yield, a maritime financing company headquartered in Europe. Prior to Seven Yield, Kok Peow was the founding Finance Director of Clifford Capital, a project finance lender, and had also held various roles in Singapore Exchange and PwC Singapore.
Kok Peow graduated from Nanyang Technological University with honours in Accountancy and is a Chartered Accountant of Singapore.
Rapheal has over 20 years’ financing and advisory experience at Citi across infrastructure, renewables, energy, real assets and structured finance. Prior to joining Pentagreen, Rapheal built and led Citi’s sustainability advisory platform in Asia-Pacific to advise corporates and sovereigns on their transition strategies and sustainable finance solutions. Prior to that, Rapheal was Managing Director in Citi’s EMEA Project and Infrastructure Finance team, where she led European infrastructure and renewables financing and was responsible for numerous landmark transactions, including the first ever holdco, greenfield offshore wind project bond.
Rapheal will lead capital raise, investor relations and management, as well as ongoing strategy formulation.
Valery has over 20 years of experience in project and acquisition finance within renewables, power, utilities and infrastructure sectors across Asia and the Middle East.
Prior to joining Pentagreen Capital, Valery was Chief Financial Officer at Intercontinental Energy (ICE), a leading integrated developer of green hydrogen projects globally. Before ICE, he held various senior positions at Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation (SMBC), as head of international project finance based in Tokyo and head of advisory for Asia Pacific based in Singapore, and held roles in the HSBC infrastructure and energy group and the Credit Suisse First Boston (CSFB) equity capital markets department in London.
